On 18 September 2023, Roar Global opened its second office in Colombo, Sri Lanka. This is a remarkable achievement for the company, which has, in the span of nine years, also opened offices in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Vientiane, Laos. The new office, Roar100, is located at 100, Elvitigala Mawatha, Colombo 5.
3P Media, the Official Media Sales Representative for Google in Sri Lanka, will now work from Roar100, taking advantage of its spacious and stylish workspaces, breakout rooms, boardroom and common areas. To mark this occasion, the Roar Global and 3P Media teams celebrated with a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. Later this month, both teams will also host an exclusive tour and games and karaoke night for all other employees working out of Sri Lanka.
Over the last decade, Roar Global has moved through three offices across the commercial capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo. Our humble journey began on Charles Drive, Colombo 3, which soon became too small as we began rapidly expanding our teams. We then spent two years at Jawatte Gardens, Colombo 5 before settling in at our headquarters on R. A. de Mel Mawatha, Colombo 3. These offices hold many memories, as we grew from a fledgling media startup with big ambitions to an influential media network in the region, with three subsidiaries under our arm.
Roar HQ will continue to be the primary office for our administration, finance and marketing teams, as well as for the Roar Media and Roar AdX teams, while Roar100 will host the 3P Media team and team that we will establish as we continue to secure new partnerships with platforms across the APAC region.
