As we approach the end of 2023, we are taking a moment to reflect on the significant advancements and milestones achieved by Roar Global. This year was marked by our expansion across the Asia Pacific region, a testament to our strategy as a go-to-market specialist for global platforms and our commitment to being a vanguard in the digital advertising landscape.
The year began with an impactful start as Roar AdX was appointed a consulting agency for LinkedIn in Sri Lanka. By working with LinkedIn, the world's leading professional networking platform, we are able to educate and empower organizations on the possibilities of B2B marketing and thought leadership. We conducted over 100 webinars and exclusive training sessions, providing hands-on learning experiences to our partners and clients.
Moreover, becoming an official reseller for Daraz Marketing Solutions in Sri Lanka has opened up new doors for advertisers. By leveraging the powerful advertising tools offered on the Daraz e-commerce platform, businesses can reach a high-intent audience, and Roar AdX is committed to upskiling businesses and agencies to take advantage of these tools.
Another significant achievement for us in 2023 was 3P Media's appointment as the Official Media Sales Representative for Google In Laos and Brunei. This marked our entry into South East Asia, extending our influence and services to a broader market.
3P Media conducted over 500 training sessions for more than 700 brands in just a year, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to navigate the constantly changing landscape of Google advertising.
In Vientiane, Laos, we quickly set up our operations and embarked on a mission to educate the local industry about the robust capabilities of Google Ads. By conducting training for some of the leading companies and agencies in the country, we were able to introduce them to the powerful capabilities of this advertising platform. And our journey in these new markets is just beginning. We eagerly look forward to hosting a grand launch event in January 2024, where we expect to network with industry leaders and highlight the advantages of Google Ads.
September 2023 marked an exciting milestone for us with the opening of Roar100, our second office in Colombo. The 3P Media team was the first to work out of the new office, also utilizing the space for exclusive training sessions. This new office stands as a testament to our growth over the years, with each new location being larger and better equipped than the last.
In 2023, we also took the time to introspect and refine our brand identity. We worked with Alyna Haji Omar of Audacity to understand our accomplishments and future goals better and define our mission, vision, and positioning.

This was an essential step for us as it helped align our team with our core values and future aspirations. It also underpins our internal and external communications, and drives all the work we do, from building a safe and inclusive work environment within Roar to empowering thousands of businesses in the APAC region to thrive in the new digital economy.
Roar AdX and 3P Media made a significant impact at several leading digital marketing events in Sri Lanka, including the first-ever Digital Summit, organized by the Digital Marketing Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL), and the SLIM Digis. As key partners at these events, we were able to share our expertise and knowledge, contributing to the growth and innovation of digital marketing in Sri Lanka. It was an honour to also have representatives from the platforms we represent, such as Bhavana Moryani from Google Singapore and Harry Singh from LinkedIn India as speakers at these events.
At Roar Global, we believe in making a positive impact on the communities we operate in. Our commitment to social responsibility was reflected in our initiatives like monthly donations to the Lanka Food Bank, celebrating Children's Day at a local orphanage in Colombo, increasing our Roar Emergency Fund to assist employees during any form of emergency, and introducing a quarterly learning budget for all employees. These initiatives reflect our dedication to fostering a nurturing and supportive work environment. This year, we were also pleased to collect two awards for being one of 50 Best Places to Work and 15 Best Workplaces for Millennials in Sri Lanka by Great Place to Work.
2023 has been a remarkable year for Roar Global. As we look forward to 2024, we are excited about the new opportunities and challenges it brings. With our dynamic team, innovative strategies, and a relentless commitment to excellence, we are confident of achieving new heights in the digital advertising landscape in the Asia Pacific region.
