On 2nd October 2023, Roar Global organized a special afternoon for the children residing at the Boys’ Industrial Home, a children’s home in Colombo 5, Sri Lanka, to commemorate Children's Day. We treated them to an Indian lunch, followed by ice cream, and presented each child with a thoughtful gift. These gifts included essential school supplies, toys, and treats. On the event day, our dedicated teams gathered at the home in order to officially present the gifts, and the staff and children of the home warmly received this gesture.
Additionally, we had a surprise in store for the children of our colleagues; every child under the age of 18 received a special bag that included toys, candies, and an activity sheet. Although we were not present to witness the moment these gifts were handed over, we were delighted to receive photos and videos capturing their joyous reactions.
This endeavour is just one of the many community-driven initiatives undertaken by Roar Global, to support the underprivileged sections of our society as well as our esteemed team members. We eagerly look forward to celebrating Children's Day with even greater enthusiasm and a larger family in the future.
