The Brief

Working in line with the Government's commitment of ensuring a mine-free Sri Lanka by 2020, the requirement by the German Federal Foreign Office was to document their contribution and the ongoing demining  efforts in Sri Lanka.

Our Role

Knowing that there is no better way to document this project than by gaining first hand experience in it, the Roar Team travelled to the Kilinochchi District to film the work carried out by the Halo Trust, Mines Advisory Group and Delvon Assistance for Social Harmony. The documentary consisted of interviews from formerly displaced families who had returned to their hometowns, representatives from the three organizations involved in the project, and the German Ambassador.
