When Sri Lanka went into its first lockdown, many businesses closed its doors in the face of an uncertain future. UberEats, however, worked hard towards providing its restaurant and delivery partners a sense of stability for their businesses during these trying times. UberEats wanted to showcase real stories of resilience and agility of their rider and delivery partners, and provide audiences with a perspective on the lives behind the scenes. Here’s how we did it.
We needed to do justice to the struggles and resilience shown by the individuals through the telling of their stories. We decided to narrate the story using a very human angle that went beyond mere statistics and numbers surrounding the change that was brought about by COVID-19.
