This month, the ad resales arm of Roar Global, better known as Roar Digital, will undergo a rebranding as Roar AdX. Roar Digital, which was established in 2020, is currently the Authorized Sales Partner for Meta in Sri Lanka. The new name represents the company’s ambitions to become a leading partner for some of the world’s most popular digital media platforms in the APAC region.

In the three years since being awarded the exclusive partnership with Meta, Roar Digital has worked with over 5,000 businesses, ranging from multinational conglomerates to SMEs, as a strategic consultant for advertising on Meta platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and more. This is an impressive accomplishment for a team that was forced to launch its operations amidst a series of lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, almost all training, workshops and client onboarding had to be conducted virtually — a challenge for any new business.

But this was also a crucial time for the businesses that made up its clientele; the pandemic meant brands had to restrategize their digital marketing efforts, and the Roar Digital team was able to provide timely, insightful and localized solutions. The following year, as the economic crisis threatened to swallow businesses, especially smaller ones, the Roar Digital team once again concentrated much of their efforts on helping these businesses navigate an incredibly difficult time. By the end of 2023, Roar Digital had held over 5,900 training hours through 60 sessions, hosted 24 events, including exclusive workshops for marketing teams of high-value clients and industry meetups for agency leaders and CMOs. In November 2022, it hosted the first flagship event it has hosted since its inception. ‘Building Breakthrough Brands’ brought together over 200 clients who advertise on Meta for an evening of knowledge exchange and networking, with talks from industry experts and the Meta APAC team.

Roar AdX will continue to deliver the same commitment to helping businesses thrive, only with multiple teams that will serve as the exclusive partner for the different platforms it will represent in the region, not just in Sri Lanka but across several countries in the APAC. Its strategy will remain the same; building multilingual, locally-staffed teams of experts, who will be trained and certified by the media platforms, to provide clients with the best practices for advertising on their networks.

Roar AdX will host regular online and offline training sessions and workshops for clients, covering a wide range of industry-specific topics

In addition to localized solutions, which includes local currency billing where possible, Roar AdX will also provide dedicated customer service, access to tips and tricks for more creative, data- and performance-driven digital marketing through webinars, offline workshops and a frequently updated online Knowledge Centre that cover a wide range of topics, from ideation, strategizing, targeting, amplification, and analysis. This will include content developed in local languages targeted at clients who are at various states of their advertising journey, from beginner to the more experienced.

In the coming months, it will also invest in state-of-the-art tech solutions geared towards simplifying the process of partnering with Roar AdX and advertising across several platforms. In January this year, it rolled out an all-new Customer Portal that allows clients to seamlessly request for new ad accounts, make payments, and more.

Under the rebrand, Roar AdX will exemplify Roar Global’s mission to keep pushing boundaries and better the future of media in the APAC region, offering cutting-edge solutions for brands to thrive in the digital media landscape.
